Sia Liu (刘沐语) is a contemporary jewellery artist and designer based in London and Shanghai. She works with what remains unspoken — emotion, identity and social relation made wearable. In this practice jewellery is not adornment alone, but a medium that carries narrative and returns the wearer to their own experience. She is currently studying BA Fashion Jewellery at London College of Fashion, UAL. Recent work includes Anxiety Regulation (Current Obsession, 2026), Behind the Scenes (London College of Fashion; The Vanilla Feature, 2025), Dream Protection (2025) and The Rhythm (2022).

Sia Liu is a contemporary jewellery artist working with what remains unspoken — emotion, identity and social relation made wearable. Her attention turns to what usually escapes notice: unspoken emotion, shifting identity, personal memory, and the overlooked relations between individuals and society. Through contemporary jewellery she translates intangible thought and experience into wearable form — a hinge between inner life and the world outside. Her relationship with art began through painting. In childhood her grandmother introduced painting as a path for focus and restless energy. That early practice shaped a sensitivity to emotion, atmosphere and narrative — the ground of a jewellery practice that gives invisible experience physical form. Contemporary jewellery, for Sia Liu, is a space where concept, material and the human body intersect. Each piece is expected to hold a precise reason for being worn. Rather than objects for display alone, the work is made to be worn and lived with. Jewellery becomes a vessel for invisible experiences, allowing emotions, memories and stories hidden beneath the surface to find new forms of expression. Coming from China and working within an international creative environment, the practice is shaped by personal experience, cultural memory and continuous observation. Rather than fixed cultural motifs, it favours shared human conditions that travel across borders. Through jewellery, Sia.L makes hidden narratives legible — and leaves room for the wearer to rethink self, other and context.
